Everyone who comes to the Holyoke St. Patrick’s Parade, Road Race and homecoming weekend knows it is the best celebration anywhere. Let’s show the world how magical Holyoke Parade & Road Race Weekend is for all of us in the Pioneer Valley!

Each year, the Chicago St. Patrick’s Day Parade takes place on the Saturday before St. Patrick’s day (unless the holiday falls on a Saturday). This year is the 60th annual parade. It will kick off at noon from the corners of Balbo Drive and Columbus Drive. The parade will travel north on Columbus Drive to Monroe Street, with a viewing stand located in front of Buckingham Fountain. Thousands of marchers, dancers, bagpipers, marching bands, floats, horses, some politicians, and even a few leprechauns will be featured in the parade.

The Staten Island St. Patrick’s Parade ended after a swift hour and a half, but the celebration, which began even before the parade’s start, is continuing inside the bars that line Forest Avenue.
