Two exit polls — NewsX-CNX and ABP-Neilson — predicted a third-term as chief minister for Nitish Kumar while two others — India TV/Times Now- C Voter and News Nation — said a photo finish was likely but gave the edge to the grand alliance. India Today-Cicero forecast a hung assembly with the BJP ahead.
Moreover, many of the polls didn’t factor in the fifth phase of polling for 57 seats that saw the highest turnout in these elections. The votes will be counted on November 8.
